I am a former high school economics and personal finance teacher and a curriculum writer for two Texas school districts. As a classroom teacher, I have taught every social studies composite class there is, literally. In my second year of teaching, I quadrupled the AP Psychology pass rate at my school, and I could not have done this without the curriculum and materials an experienced teacher gave to me.

Since then, I have earned a doctorate in education policy, began teaching in the TCU College of Education, continued to serve as a Civil Affairs Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve. Regardless of my professional role, I have dedicated my professional life to supporting real teachers, real administrators, and real students.

The Money Game Plan is my answer to a problem I watched up close: teachers are being asked to teach new courses and build it from scratch. This takes away from the time that should be spent focused on serving students and addressing the day-to-day challenges that come with being a teacher. This curriculum exists so they don't have to build a course from scratch.
